    Stayed with my partner for a weekend, lovely cottage and surrounds, quiet location. Great deck with views, also didn't want to leave such a great spot. Will be back!

    I'm surprised there are no other reviews of this cottage yet. We (2 adults, 2 young children 3yrs and 1.5) stayed there for 2 nights in Feb 2012. In summary the place was perfect, didn't want to leave.

    Lovely relaxing atmosphere, beautiful views from the deck, spotlessly clean and stocked with everything needed plus more.

    I loved the personal touches from the owners, which gave the place some character sorely missing in many of the sterile, modern design B&Bs and hotels. Sprigs of lavendar carefully placed around the house, fresh cut flowers, and the cottage itself - pictures, books and paintings. You could tell that the owner's actually cared about the house and about making people's stay wonderful. A fact highlighted by an unobtrusive phone call to see how we were and whether we'd like some toys for the girls (dropped off while we were out for a walk).

    We highly recommend Cricklewood, and will stay there again, hopefully for longer than 2 nights.
